M50i Kick to open tailgate

Anybody know if the M50i includes the "kick to open" tailgate feature.
I don't see it listed under standard features or options on the BMW site.

The X5 40i has the kick to open tailgate and when I compare the wording of the features between the 40i and the M50i, they are exactly the same. Does this mean the M50i has it? I would think so even though neither states it. It comes with the Comfort Access feature.

Thanks- I figured that as well, just thought it strange they did not list it anywhere.

For completeness, need to add ... "unless the factory hitch is the European, rather than North American, model", in which case the kick to open still works.

My contact at bmw Canada told me that 2020 models will now come with kick functionality when equipped w towing package. There's not much more to say lol.

I don't think they would have different specs for US vs Canada... so either my contact is wrong... very odd.

It would be stupid, but there is a lot stupid already between BMW local factions. Like the complete impossibility of a spare tire in Canada, yet a $150 option 10min over the border. No amount of stupid would surprise at this point.

New the US received the watered down E36 M3 and Canada did not. This would not be the first time something really stupid has happened in regards to BMW USA.
