it's an M5 that should be expected the suspension is stiff add that to an aggressive camber and it hugs every line on the road. Was it a comp? I almost bought an M5 Comp, absolutely love that car.

When I read the reviews of the M5 I wanted one. Your response is confirmation that more is not always better. Hopefully, the X5 50i will give you the right balance. Good luck!

Giving back a leased VW Sharan for the X5M50d. Can’t wait - the Sharan itself was fine but VW and the whole handling of the Diesel scandal was a bad joke.

What do you think about the 50i so far? Seems like a lot of... complains on here about the car.

I figure Dinan will offer a tune just as they did the previous generation that will take it near 530hp which is totally fine to me. Hell the stock is adequate for normal driving— I never use the m5 level acceleration
. Can’t drag race in town 🙄🙄

I had some hiccups initially with software and the car spent 1 week at dealership then everything has been good so far...no complaints...I launched my 50i and was impressed even coming from an X5M...I've never been a sedan guy so I never test drove an M5...im sure you'll find it an awesome ride...

Complaints? The car drives great for an SAV, the real limiting factor is the seats because the chassis will handle things but you'll be sliding around! I'm a small guy (5'8" 140lbs) so maybe they would be better for a normal sized American. They're awesome and comfortable seats, bolstering isn't anywhere near an ///M car which is good because ///M seats aren't exactly comfortable for trips.

See my sig for the review I wrote on the 50i

I would love to hear more feedback from you. My 535 lease is up in couple of months and I am going back and forth between G30 540 or the G05.

We really don't "need" a SUV as there is a Sq5 in the stable but I really like the looks (especially the interior) of the G05.

I am so what concerned that the "fun" factor will be completely out the door if I go with X5 vs 540.

This car will be nothing more than a daily driver (no kids, dogs & etc)
