Rattling noise
Anybody get this strange rattling noise coming from underneath the drivers side. I've had it happened to me twice. Noise comes out of nowhere but goes away if you turn the car off and on again.

Looked around whole entire truck and couldn’t find anything loose whatsoever at all. Knocking on the panels doesn’t even result in anything loose sounding from within. Wrapped the right rear seat back latch with electrical tape and secured the right rear seatback de-latch button by wedging thin cardboard into the edge of same. Any updates anyone? Is there a fix for this yet? Can you please provide more info on the underbody panel and hose referenced; any instructions you can please provide? Maybe you can ask your dealer/service advisor? Thank you very much. |

I have a rattle from the right rear in my brand new car, it has taken almost a year for BMW to figure it out, then order parts, replace and then still there was noise, so I took it back on Monday. It is getting checked while I type here. It is coming from the right rear cargo latch panel, if you tap on it it makes the noise. Also, heard on rough roads.

I'm pretty sure I have the same noise as that and seems to be coming from the boot door. When pressing the boot door from the outside, I can kinda replicate the noise from the outside. Doesn't sit flush with the car.
