eBay, from a Taiwanese seller; bought it and a set of H&R spacers for the price of the grille sold by IND. worked great, took 5 minutes to swap, just be careful not to scuff the paint where the grill meets the hood on either side. Probably better to do with 2 people.

I love this look, it almost looks liquid. Post when the wheels are done. I debated long and hard over the window tints for my M50i order, finally went no tint (OCDness of mismatch to front windows).

Devil's advocate here... But the windows are miss matched even without tint - no tint front vs tinted rears. So really no difference in terms of miss matched windows but at least you gain the benifit of the tint.

Also, the darker the tint the less noticeable the difference would be. 20% and below it will be hard to distinguish.

Do it!

IMO, white paint is easier to care for than any other color. My Alpine White F30 has to be filthy before it looks bad. I love it. My wife's G05 with Phytonic Blue shows dirt much more.

The Ivory White interior is awesome. My wife chose it reluctantly for her G05. Her reluctance was about maintaining the white color. 6 months in it has not been an issue at all. No blue transfer from blue jeans. No issues kids and grandkids in the back seat. Haven't had pets in the X5 yet. Based on our experience, we wouldn't hesitate to get Ivory White again.

Your color choice will be awesome. We want photos!

What wrap did you use on the piece under the doors? Satin or matte black? I am thinking about doing a gloss black wrap on all the silver pieces (roof rails, window surrounds, vent, and the piece under door). I have an arctic grey.

Cool, you probably won't look over the other lane and see a dude in the same, so I would go for it, at least for a shorter lease.

As for color transferring from jeans on lighter leathers: yes, I have had this (cognac), but that being said, it was also easy to get it off again.

Kids and dogs in my X5: yes, it is the type of vehicle you want for this. Very safe (for you and your family), excellent ride, still you don't feel like you want to die like you would in an active tourer type of minivan. You will usually find mine with trunk interior Black with Golden Retriever White (very exclusive), interior scent: "Last Night's McDonald's".

It all cleans up, enjoy your BMW to the fullest!
