My observation has been that
- The vehicle will move into Entering Assembly the day (maybe day and a half) prior to the scheduled completion date.
- Late the day before or the day of scheduled completion it hits QC.
- Best scenario - it flies through QC same day. If it does not, it usually implies there is something holding it up and all bets are off on how long in QC...

So assuming you are in the "Today's the Day" step, that's normal/expected given your proximity to completion date.

Mine shifted out 5 days, the day prior to my initially communicated production completion date. 2 days, while frustrating, won't kill ya. I remember I was pissed off too.

Relax guys. Mine has been pushed back to week 6 from week 1. BMW NA promised to come back with an answer or I would cancel the order. Haven’t heard back since Thursday. Seems like bmw doesn’t care about customer relations. Is this the same with audi, porsche or mercedes-benz?

The BMW NA executive team was making lame excuses for my delay from week 1 to 6. I gave them a deadline until tomorrow to come up with an answer for delay and a remedy to retain your customer or I am going to cancel the order. This is pathetic. They are being shady, some of his talk felt like it was dealer who screwed up with allocation but he was trying to cover up and was like it could be any reason.

I did check with the robot yesterday and I moved from completion date 1/16 to 1/17. The online tracking hopefully is wrong and that these cars are moving along and in production. I guess we'll find out soon. I had been set as a week 3 build since mid december and like AndroidRobot ordered mine back in November. The issue for me is that my dealer did not really have an allocation but was able to trade or get one from another dealer. I was interested in a few options that only started production in December so i decided to take that allocation and spend a little time finalizing my build.

You can call 1-800-831-1117, say "Vehicle Production Status", give your production number or last 7 of VIN, and it will tell you.

So I was January 17th for the past 3 weeks calling, I just called to try this out, and now I moved to January 21st.

UGHHHHH...I'll give it until then, but if it gets delayed again, I'll be calling HQ or my dealership to discuss canceling the order.
