Mine has been at 9610 Port of exit for a few days now and the possible date slips back by a day each day, if that makes sense. My guess is it will come forward a few days once it is actually on a ship to Southampton |

I'm starting to think that BMW genius is a waste of time. Checking it every 3 days is only adding to my frustration, so I guess I should stop!
The car has been at status 9000 for a month. When I checked last Monday the BMW adviser told me the car was into the UK and my dealer would be contacting me to arrange collection, cue whoops of joy. After contacting the sales guy, he had no record of it coming into the UK and every time I check genius it still says 9000! Anyone else having the same issues? I am having exactly the same issues.
Been in port (status 9000) for 6 weeks. Been checking every other day and nothing changes. I did speak to 2 geniuses last week and they informed me that it would be delivered week 17 (next week) but now its been put back again to week 22. Perhaps a computer glitch that day. My sales adviser is blaming Brexit as the reason for the delay. I smell BS here and just an easy way to say the BMW have messed up |

A lighting supplier that manufactures in China was telling me product is taking three weeks to get through the ports. I didn't make a huge amount of sense to me. What about organising onward transport? Can't see HGVs waiting around for weeks to pick up a consignment. |

I agree with stocking up on parts, but these are complete finished products. We import parts from all around the world and we have not really seen any real problems as yet.
I also found out that these cars have to go to Germany first and then transported back over here. Our cars will have already done their break in period |

Exactly the same original provisional delivery date as me, so hope mine has caught the same boat. Assume you got update from online BMW Genius?

Once at 9000 it will always take at least 3 weeks to get to 9600 as the ships between Charleston and Bremerhaven take 10 days if non stop to 22 days if there are a few stops on route my ship stopped in Baltimore, Antwerp then Zeebrugee before being off loaded in Bremerhaven. It then spent a couple of days there before getting a different shipping line to Southampton. Dealer picked it up from Southampton to speed up delivery and get it into Q1 numbers

I got departed plant 9000 on the 26th Feb. I had seen from other posts that some vehicles made the 200m rail trip to Charleston and shipped the same day. There was one ship leaving on the 26th- Glorious Leader (10 days to Bremerhaven) and another on the 27th Resolve (18days to Bremerhaven stopping in Baltimore, Antwerp then Zeebrugee before Bremerhaven). When it didn't get to 9600 by 10th March I had my fingers crossed for Resolve as the next ship wasn't until 8th March. You don't know which ship until you get a 96xx status so you can the figure out which ship it just arrived on. Once you get to 9620 you can figure out which ship it is on to Southampton. I assumed it was the same shipping line as the Charleston ships go on to Southampton from Bremerhaven but given the 9620 date and my dealer telling me it was due in Southampton at 08.30 on Thursday I realised they also use the Hoegh line and mine must me on Hoegh Tokyo. The dealer was speaking to BMW logistics as he wanted to grab the car out of Southampton along with an M50d rather than wait for BMW to deliver them to dealership as he needed in his Q1 numbers.
