You won’t believe how many times I swapped between our two colours!

I’m still not convinced I made the right choice, but the fact my Audi is grey probably swung it as a change.

As good as a rest so I’ve heard!

I was thinking the same. Last couple of BMWs have been Alpine White and was going to go the same but some friends persuaded me to change.

The loans I have from my dealer is Phytonic Blue and the amount of good comments I have had is amazing. Colour looks great and very sporty.

Likewise I have had two F15s both in Carbon Black with ivory/black interior so wanted a change. I hadn't seen Arctic Grey on a G05 so took a bit of a gamble but love the colour. I saw a couple of Phytonic Blue G05 in the local showrooms and nearly changed.

Same. I have carbon currently but really fancied the blue.

I think if it was just a shade lighter I'd have gone for it, but I bottled it and back to trusty old sapphire black.

No sign of mine at the dealers. If BMW logistics work on geography I guess we will get ours at the same time as there's about 50 miles between them.

Typical! idgam and BMWlifer have there's sat in the dealers but can't collect, and I'm chomping at the bit with mine god knows where

Sapphire Black with ivory white will look fabulous.

I got the all weather car mats which I'm really pleased with having had cheap Halfords mats in my last two F15s. They aren't cheap but the dealer did them for £100 using his staff rate.

Thanks. I’ve got some oem all weather mats in my f15. Do you know if they fit the G05? Can always get some more but they’ve weathered well

Nope sadly not. Cooper Teesside supplied F15 mats by mistake. I didn't fit them until I'd driven 261miles home! Luckily there is Cooper dealership in Reading and was quickly sorted. The G05 mats are slightly nicer than the F15s.

Finally got to pick the car up. Been a long journey but it's is definitely worth the wait.

Got a missed call from the dealer, I’m thinking it’s good news, my car is early.

When I rang it turns out the salesman had rung the wrong Graham in his phone!

Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhh!

So still Tuesday then.......

It is a beautiful machine.

Tyres are Continental's. I will report back with software version later. I did ask them to update the software before I picked it up so fingers crossed they did it.

TBH, this is about as Offroad this car will ever go.

Car drives like a dream, although trying to get used to the all wheel steering. Engine is a beast
