The 40i starts at 59.000 euro excl VAT. The 45e comes with 19 inch wheels and air suspension as standard. You can configure it yourself at any European BMW site. https://www.bmw.de/de/ssl/configurat...Y/G05/esl/new/ |

Another one ordered here in Belgium in June, with delivery week 51. We actually asked a later date because the current lease finishes in February, but I don’t know if we could leave it iat the dealer for a month
Question: the VIM is only created when production starts? With that you can check the progress, right? I read somthing about an order number you can use to track starting when the order is created. Fun fact: Belgium was the first country in the world where the 45e could be ordered due to the tax regulations. In May there were already 800 ordered! And that for a country with as much people as a big city |

Looking to possibly replace my wife's Q5 in a year or so and the X5 45e is quite intriguing. Anyone know what the towing capacity is or will be?

Expected delivery week 46. 2nd week of November. Still trying to figure out my production date. Configuration confirmed and can't change it any more.
Hoping to receive it a few weeks earlier. :-) |

Last week my dealer in Antwerp said they expect the first 45e's for customers in December. The first 45e for test drives at BMW Belux driving center in October, November.

Ordered mine 15 February 2019. Expected delivery is week of 11th November 2019. Dealership claims mine will be the 2nd X5 45e they deliver. A colleague ordered one at the end of June (same dealership as me) . His expected delivery date is the first week of January 2020. |

No. Sorry that is why it is a rumor. They did make a hybrid X6 in 2011. I don't think it is out of the question even though I think the market is for more sport in the X6. The market is strange for X6 so I don't put anything past BMW. I also expect dealers to know nothing about future cars and dismiss anything that would keep you from buying today.
