love the front but not sure about the tail lights (looks too much like MB without signature L shaped lights).

You can't se serious dude.

The Merc GLE? Easily the ugliest vehicle in its class with that dorky egg shape. Let's not even start on its cheapo interior.

It looks like an X5 which is a good thing. And unlike the F15, it's not just a warmed version of the generation it replaces.

I'm excited for it. Hopefully the interior spices things up relative to the F15's dull cabin design.

That looks a bit too X3 to me.
And the rear lights look very Ford.

I hope the real X5 is a bit less rounded.

The front is really close. Just minor details.

The side, well, that's how I remember it.

The rear. Well. The lights are a little wrong. They are more 3D. The white should be an inch of the flat surface of the lights. You can kinda see it in one of the pictures. The lower part of the rear M-sport bumper is wrong. Should be in the color of the car and more sporty.

But this is a really good render

Who's designing these tail lights these days? They went from being very BMW unique to looking like a Japanese car maker? Who lets this pass through to production? Lot of people at fault here

You are in the minority with that opinion. Look around they are outselling the x6 by a ton.

You do realize the GLE competes with the X5?

Now the GLE Coupe goes with the X6. Still doesn't excuse it's cheapo interior designed during the glorious Chrylser days of Mercedes Benz.

It looks better than I've expected and I'm sure it will sell well.

But I'm just not liking the tail lights of the recently introduced models, they're going the wrong way with its design. That looks japanese and I see almost zero BMW design in it.

I'm not sure he is in the minority with his opinion. And that may be the case in your area, but I definitely see more X5 (F15) than GLE here in Switzerland (you mentioned the X6 though, but we're talking about the X5 here).

Not a big fan of the rear. The trunk door resembles the Audi Q curvy shape which I dislike. Equivalently the same with the taillights...let's hope the real thing is less...blah

I really wanna like this and it will likely grow on me but I just can't help seeing a cross between a Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee aaand a Lincoln MKC.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Funny the 2 things that didn't really flow from these mock-ups is the taillights and the rear bumper. Thanks again!
