Trying to figure out what tires they are shipping the LCI with in the US (specifically the M60i but since I’m going to either order the 21 or 22” options I don’t think this matters).

Was trying to find this out at the dealer this morning picking up my current X3 from service. I had a 2023 pre LCI X5 40i with a 22 inch non run flat continental premium contact 6. Service advisor said they don’t get many with continentals, mostly pirelli P Zero.

They didn’t have any LCI X5 on the lot to see but all the 22s and 23s on the XMs they had on the lot had on P Zeros.

Can anyone provide any insight on what tires I may be getting with each wheel option? Also I see some options show “performance” tires which I know are the summer tires and also “mixed performance” what’s the difference?

Do they differentiate between touring summer tires and performance summer tires??

I wish they would just advertise the tire along with the wheel…. I’m picky about my tires

I would imagine they are the same as the pre-lci tires. They are all performance (summer) tires. Sometimes BMW uses the word Mixed for some staggered wheel options but they are summer tires.

According to the BMW tire store:

21's: Pirelli PZero PZ4 and Hankook (no model listed)

22's: Pirelli PZero PZ4 and Continental Premium Contact 6


Hopefully those who have received their M60i can chime in if anything has changed.

Yesterday my X6 60i came in, 22” Continentals

Nice tire- have it on my current X6,
but don’t be unhappy if you get the Perrilli’s - they are great, my favorite

I suggest order all seasons soon if you live in a cold climate last year they sold out late summer

My X5 40i arrived yesterday with 22" Continental Premium Contact 6 tires and the dealer is putting them on my 2019 trade-in and giving me Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

Looking forward to having the PS4S as the 2019 had 22" Pirelli PZero PZ4.

My 2024 X5 50e also came with Continentals. Glad they put those on instead of Pirellis which I really hate. But as big Michelin fan I plan to swap to Michelin Pilot 4S and get separate 20 inch winter wheels and put Michelin xice.

Last week my 2025 x640i came with summer pirelli PZ4
{ on 742M rims 22’ staggered} Great tires.

Was hoping They would not the continentals my last one came with, but those are quality also , but the high end Perelli’s For me the best because they’re lower sound last a long time and quality For me the best because they’re lower sound last a long time and corner well.

My M60i which I picked up from the dealer last Friday also came with 22” Pirellis. It’s my third BMW and all of them had pirellis from factory

Interestingly, for all three I also ordered BMW original winter wheel sets - and all of them were Pirellis as well

I have absolutely no reasons to complain - great comfort, silent, good handling and they lasted through my entire ownership of these cars (never had to buy a replacement due to wear)
