LSB, Amaro, XT1, Individual Leather Adds

When I finally decided to replace my 2001 530, I thought I would buy an M5. However, once I drove it I decided that it was just too large. The M3 was the right size but I thought that it just wasn't very luxurious inside, even with full leather. The M3 just has too much black plastic.

Looking at what some others on the board had done though BMW Individual, I decided that with a few additions and a few mods, I could be very happy.

I had Individual add leather on the console and seat backs to match the full Amaro. I prefer wood trim but just didn't think that any of the available wood trim options for the M3 suited the Amaro, so I ordered and installed the burled walnut trim from a 3 Series LCI. I also replaced the black door trim strips with the "PearlGloss" chrome trim from the same model.

Once I determined the door panels had to come off to replace the door trim strips, I went ahead and installed the BavSound speakers and while I was spending money, added the subwoofers. The speaker changes are well worth doing. The HK standard tweeters were just painful to listen to and now there is more detail in the mid-bass.

I have to toss out some thanks to David Aviles and Jimmy Bach (GOLFFRR on this forum) at Steve Thomas BMW for getting the car ordered and the all of the people at the Performance Delivery Center and the Greenvill Sheridan for the making the delivery experience something to remember.

Congratulations! I have an LSB M3 currently in production, and seeing that first pic has increased my anticipation. It captures the color better than most photos I've seen.

Yeah gorgeous car, everything looks exquisite except the wood killed it for me, a piano black trim would have been amazing. But you money n ur taste n as long as u like it. Enjoy

I only wish I had known you could get your interior like that. I always thought M interiors had too much black in them in comparison to a standard 3/4. I now know XT1 but I know you've gone beyond that.

I can't overstate this. LSB is by far the most awesomest color for the M3.
