Charging via USB-C vs. Wireless Charger
I'm sure many of you have already notice the very slow charging time in the tray. I initially grabbed a USB-C cable to hard wire my phone to test the sound quality of my Tidal Masters but was shocked as to how quickly the phone charged will hooked up. Granted my experience is with an iPhone and can't speak to how Androids would react but I'm assuming the same way. The charging speed is not just faster, it's exponentially faster.
Here's a link to the cable I used. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...KIKX0DER&psc=1 |

It's a giant conspiracy. See the link below. Apple has to "certify" cable to make sure you're "safe". It comes down to the $$$. I started hearing grumblings of people having issues with certain cables back when the whole iPhone throttling crap came out. The price isn't too crazy for the actual Apple cable, considering how much they charge for everything else. I've noticed using the random Lightning/USB-C cable the dealership threw in (so kind of em!) is hit or miss to even connect. Did not realize it until I disconnected the WiFi and BT and compared the cable against my others from Apple. Good information from ya, it's one of those small things I tend to overlook. It does keep the phone from running too hot while charging/using versus the wireless charger. Thanks!
If you use a counterfeit or uncertified Lightning accessory, you could see these issues:

Wireless charging is always slower than hardwired
No wireless charger that works with iPhones is more than 7.5w Wired on X5 is 15w I believe so double the speed

Oh I get that wireless is slow. It's a convenience factor and a benefit where the battery cannot be overcharged. What I was also sharing was that in my experience it's not just twice as fast, it's like 3 or 4 times as fast for me. YMMV
