Trying to put my F95 X5M on jack stands?
Has anyone figured out a rear center point to jack this beast up so I can put it on jack stands? I see the center jack spot on the front. But I can't seem to figure out the best way to get the back up and on stands.
Any help is appreciated! I am trying to get it up so I can install my new Dinan mid pies. Thank you. |

Here is how I do it. I don't bother with trying to not damage the vehicle. It works in tandem with your jack. Works amazingly well.
https://rennstand.com/ I also purchased aluminum billet pucks made for BMW jack points to use with the universal crown jack pad for the stand. This way I can use this on other vehicle types if needed. Here are the Jack Pads https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here is a how to video X5 has zero issues with height even with the BMW jack pads placed on top. I found this video where he is jacking up a tesla and had height issues. Last edited by 1Mors; 04-07-2023 at 06:20 PM.. |

There are still the unbelievers despite the information straight from the BMW TIS…but the rear can be lifted by placing a trolley jack below the rear diff. Just don’t place the jack on the diff’s cover…it must be solidly placed below the diff itself….then you can lift the entire rear axle off the ground.
Don’t forget to chock the wheel of the opposite axle when lifting from the center jack points!
