I don't remember the exact number, but it was basically the residual. I tried to negotiate with BMWNA, but they couldn't do anything and I didn't have the time or patience to go back to the dealership to negotiate. I might have saved a little money, but there was no guarantee (I'd already been in a conversation with them about staying with my car and they were trying to push the 2018) and I don't think it would have been a lot.

Wow, I love the new X3 design, not sure I'm feeling how the X5 is shaping up. That body line going under the front handle and through the back looks weird.

That render is essentially a X3 M40i. It's missing the clearly terrible body line visible in the spy pics.

Based on spy shots it seems like it'll continue to be a great looking SUV, as all X5s have.
I am curious however, why such a fast redesign? The F15 isn't even 5 yrs old and it's on its way out. It is a great vehicle that is still the best in class alongside the Q7. With that being said, I'm not complaining. The F15 is disappointing to drive (coming from the E70) and is kind of frumpy looking without ///M sport pkg. |

What is with the german car companies and quadruple redundant buttons these days?
The steering wheel controls look like you could pilot a space shuttle. The scroll wheel does EVERYTHING that you can do in the MMI menu, and then there are still buttons all around it, and then still more buttons that do all the same exact things once again in the center console stack. Less=more. My B8 Audi S4 steering wheel has a 2 multifunction up and down scroll wheels which push in for "confirmation/enter," a voice control button, and a phone pickup/hangup button. You really don't need a button for every single ridiculous thing you can do in the car! Its like a competition between BMW Mercedes and Audi to have the most buttons that do the same exact F***ing thing!

I really like the changes to the X3, but I'm really on the fence with what I've seen with the new X5.
The lease on our SQ5 is up in 2 months and I've never been so unsure on what our next vehicle will be. The new Q7 just doesn't do anything for me (yet it's the safest/cheapest bet), current X5 still looks great, but is at the EOL, not sure what is going on with the new X5 and last contender is the recently refreshed RRS. UGH!
