Yes, Its working for me now.
I already had set to ON and on MAX setting.
After the update fixed itself, the setting switched off itself.

I had to switch it on again and voila!

After everything works the cartridge level was suddenly 25% lower. Can't sey that I really smell(ed) anything
Do you immediately and really smell the fragrance good? The only time when I think I smell something is when I take a sharp turn.

On mine I now smell the fragrance pretty well, depending on the settings in the climate menu. I seems to give a strong puff when getting into the car and driving off then at more random times during a journey.

Not sure if I’ll bother to leave it on though! Still don’t know if the ioniser is actually doing anything

Been waiting about 3 months for a final install on my 2019. BMWNA doesn't like me LOL.

Connected Services expired a long time ago. Do you need to have that service for updates?

No, it is not required for OTA's. Remote Software upgrades are available as ling as technically possible.

Dealer upgraded to 03/2024.35 a few weeks ago. Today I got an OTA update to 03/2024.40.

I thought 03/2024 wasn’t available for OTA yet. And why do I get such a minor update from .35 to .40?
Is there an urgent bug fix?
Could this be related with the brake issue recall?

They must be starting to roll out the 03/2024 update. Their goal was to have them come out sooner after introduction to dealers, looks like they may be making progress. Looking forward to seeing other areas reporting the OTA and hopefully the US by the end of next month.

Wouldn't be a big fix or brake issue, just the way they work. If a vehicle is less then the OTA version it would be updated.

I found it odd because I got 11/2023 a month ago by OTA and 03/2024 a few weeks ago from the dealer. Thought 03/2024 was July by OTA?

Don't forget you got a month ago was out for at least three months already and you got it late. Like I said, their goal was to have OTA's follow as closely as possible the release to dealers.
