Tomorrow! It arrived to Seattle area last week, sat around in Seattle yard for a while before The Renton/Orillia VPC and then delivery to the dealer midweek. It's been exciting watching it all start to update in the MyBMW app. They're charging it now...
Surprised it started from 0% charge - but maybe with the de-rated battery capacity in the U.S. the residual/starting charge was below the threshold? |

Finally picked it up today. So far, I really like it a lot, worth the wait. I'll miss the X3 M40i, it was a great car. The X5 rides a lot smoother, seats are great (def glad got the nice seats), and it is just more plush. Partner said "this is like riding in a living room"

FLYSWA What do you think of silverstone interior and matt trim against cognac? I just picked up new X5 with same options last week and loving it but seems like silverstone will need more cleaning and upkeep compared to cognac…

Thus far I love the silver stone, I thought the cognac was a bit too dark. I went ahead and spent the $1200 to get the daffy interior protection just in case that silver stone stains or something… I just want to enjoy the look without worrying about messing it up. As for the mate trim, I thought it was the best option and I’m liking the way it looks against the silver stone. I test drove a few with the gloss finishes and I thought they smudged too easily. Overall I’ve been extremely pleased with the combo. By the time the interior protection is expired, I won’t really care as much about the interior or I will have traded it.
