Carbon Black X6

2023 X6 ordered July 27, dispatched September 13, picked up October 5. Went in to the detailer October 19 for minor paint correction, full front custom PPF, ceramic all over, including wheel faces, barrel, calipers, and some tinting.

Your car looks great.

You'll be glad that you've had the wheels ceramic coated.

Can I suggest that you get some Gyeon Wet Coat, or whatever spray on rinse off coating that you prefer for spritzing onto the wheels once you've washed them.

How about a photo of it at loading level?

I do like how it looks at loading height. We do put the X6 at loading height every time parked. Easier for my wife to get in and out of. Too bad it’s a manual process to drop it down every time. I’ll add a future shot at loading height.

Embarrassing question - we received ours 4 months ago - what is loading height?

Hey mikerx5. Your 2022 X6 might not have the option. On 2023 X6, BMW offered, again, the air suspension option. The air suspension is standard on the 45e’s. For the X6, non Msport, it’s something like $1k but with Msport, only $150 add on. Total no brainer for us to add.

With the air suspension, you basically have 5 height settings for the X5/X6. The middle is your default/comfort option. The two higher setting would be for additional ground clearance like for off-roading. The 2nd lowest setting is when the car is in Sport mode. The lowest setting is the loading height, which as the name implies, is meant for easier unloading of cargo and passengers. Once car goes above, I believe, 5 mph, the car will automatically raise back up to either the default position or sport, if you drove away in sport mode.

Cant believe they brought it back. OK thanks for clarifying - I would have done that in a second!

Looks great Shllshck! There are so many blue tones in the pics you posted: CB paint, IWNB interior, headlights, calipers, ambient lighting, and of course the BMW logo. Looks like blue is one of your favorite colors . The Y-spoke wheels look awesome BTW!

Thanks ukk! Is blue really my favorite color? Here’s my F36 after I waxed it this past weekend. My old e90 was also Imperial Navy
