X5 G05 Lime Rock Grey with XPEL Stealth

I had my X5 G05 wrapped with XPEL Stealth. I love Lime Rock Grey and now with the XPEL Stealth look it's a killer.

Here is the result.

Looks great!! I absolutely love LRG… I’m in the market and heavily leaning to the 2024 X5 M50i in either Lime Rock Grey or Tanzanite, with either Merino Tartufo or Ivory. Decisions!

The one mod that I think the lighter colors really benefit from is an m sport front spoiler in black (assuming you’ve blacked out everything else). I have it on my M340i (Dravit Grey - not light but still good contrast) and I love it. I typically lease so you’re only paying half the cost of a fairly good mod. I just think it really completes the look of you appeal to sporty. I’m highly considering the M50i in Lime Rock as well (then I see a Tanzanite or CB and change my mind), and I’ll likely add the front spoiler.

IMO LRG is such a great color because it changes so much in different lighting.

By wrapping it with stealth PPF, don’t you lose the dynamic-ness of the color entirely or do you still notice that it changes in certain light?

My car is actually at the Xpel corporate installation location in Dallas. My car is Manhattan Green and I’m nervous what it’ll look like with stealth so I’m doing the Ultimate Plus. It does look cool though.

It's still there. It changes in different lighting very much. I think the stealth makes the color pop more. Now with the stealth wrap I notice much more detail in it. For example, in some light conditions the metallic effect is stunning. I couldn't see that detail with the gloss.

I like the color.

Can you take a picture of your sun visors and headliner. Did you get Alcantara headliner or the normal Anthracite cloth?

I think your rear tires are mounted the wrong way.

You can really see a light green hue with the XPEL stealth applied. Looks different from it being glossy. Good job.

Indeed they were. I had an appointment with the dealer already and they fixed it. I didn’t notice it, though. The company doing the wrap told me.

I'm sure you already know this but in the pics of the winter wheels your rear tires are mounted in the wrong direction. I suspect the driver wheel should be on the passenger side.
