The split headlight look is horrendous imo. It was literally the first thing I looked for in the pics above. Glad it's not present but to each it's own I guess.

I like the car just not sure how far that hump on the back protrudes.

Any news on if the air suspension will become available as an option in the ICE X5 LCI?

Looks good! The headlights is okay, The taillights will look awesome in person, I think based on the instagram post. I hope they fix the biggest issue I have with the current one, Shitty backup lights! Maybe they are direct swapable!

I wouldn’t doubt they didn’t do 3D tail design this time to cut on cost.

Either trolls or people need eye exams if they think lci x7 front end looks good. That also goes for new 7 series. Keep those far away from the X5 lol

Overall a more modern take on the entire vehicle. I think looks better overall.

Modernizes the look without anything too extreme. Like most eager to see X5M and m sport bumpers

Can BMW stop with the vertical air curtains and all the shapes they want to throw on the front bumper? No, really. Looks f--king terrible.

If the X3 and X4 are anything to go by, M Sport is probably going to be over styled with a lot of ^ shapes instead of just having straight or horizontal lines.

The x3 / x4 m sport lci's have been extremely well recieved... many people forgo the true m models becuase the m sports look that good.

Everything pre-LCI from BMW so far has been better aesthetically than the over styled LCI - X3 and X4 included. Personally, I don't see anything in the front fascia design that warrants these sharp/triangular lines when BMW could have stayed straight lines to keep the front lower bumper cleaner than what we currently get.

100% agree.. new lines on the front bumper make non sense..

If comes something like this..

i'm glad i have a pre-LCI, but i want the LCI HP and charging capacity so bad.

Probably because they always have tide hands on LCI: need to provide something new to boost sales when working on plastic parts only.

Maybe (even if beauty is subjective and lies in the eye of the beholder) design is an exact science and there is only one objectively "right" design solution, that they should be able to figure it out during the initial "unrestricted" design phase. In such case, LCI changes would aim at novelty for the sake of it.

Alternatively, tastes change quicly and LCI is a good opportunity to update the desing, but still with tide hands and working on plastic parts only (with the risk of overdoing it).

Let's wait to see the interior, although the new air vent knobs (those of LCI X7) are horrible IMO.
Me too- I like cars that have separate signal indicators.

The worse are cars where the DRL shuts off completely when a signal is activated. This is half bad… half good. I guess we would have to live with this.

Pre LCI lights are better …

I think the split headlights were carried out better on the i7. X7 seems forced… x7 was an lci where i7 was a clean slate.

Glad bmw kept their x5 good looking…

I agree- x3-x7 range pre LCI just look better. Id8 aside- the classic good looks of these cars along with m340i xdrive contrast the new x7, m3/m4 and i7.

That would be my guess. I fell like on the lighting side it’s a regression, at least for the upside down DRLs

Edit: that’s assuming the DRL doesn’t extend on the bottom, it’s hard to tell from the pics
