Hi - new to the forum!

Over the weekend I placed an order for a new 50e:
- Tanzanite Blue II metallic
- Coffee interior
- Premium + Driver Assistance Prof + Parking Assistance
- Multi-contour seats + heated steering wheel/armrests
- Hitch

Thanks to the forum I was aware of the current production delays as well as challenges many have been facing -- but trusting BMWNA will do the right thing if we end up being unfortunate members of the club with drivetrain/battery issues.

I don't have a production number so not sure where we will fall in the queue but hopefully will have some idea before too long.

Congrats! I have almost the same order in (only difference is Cognac instead of Coffee). Hope you get production info soon.

Just called the Genius number and was advised estimated production week March 17-23 which I believe is Week 12. This seems to be consistent with being in the production queue behind other Priority 1 builds that were pushed back from earlier weeks.

I ordered a 50e on 1/8 and got an allocation and production number. I called the Genius from my dealership and they had no clue on the production number. Hopefully I too am in the same production week

Give them another call, all production numbers have a production week associated with them.

Not sure about dealership genius, but i called bmw genius to get more information. Try calling this number and provide them your production number. BMW Genius Hotline at 1.844.4GENIUS (443-6487).

I took it that he called the Genius line from his dealership. If he called the dealer’s Genius they would have no clue.

I spoke with the BMW Genius and they told me my build is week 12, March 17th to March 23rd. So based upon the date how long would the eta for the delivery be to the dealership ?

Your location says NY so if there are no delays in QC or getting a carrier it should be about three days after your assembly date. Once you hit Production Begins then you can use the "F12" process to get your assembly date. Production Begins does not mean that assembly has begins but that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. Actual assembly takes less than a day.
