If you get to Entering Assembly Line, seems like it goes very fast from there, usually within a day others have reported it goes to QC and then QC varies from less than a day to several days and then waiting for transport and dispatched to your dealer from there. Being in PA, you are close, can be at your dealer in a week or less sometimes from completion day.
Thanks roadkillrob- I appreciate it.

Just talked live to BMW Genius and they said very unlikely my week 49 (which was supposed to be completed today, then pushed to the 10th) will even be ready for delivery before Christmas. Very discouraging.

Just talked to BMW Genius also, he see no production delay and the estimated completion date is still 12/7.

However, he does not know the actual production status of my car, a delay may still show up tomorrow 12/7 !?

I hope he is wrong !

What date did you place your order? I places my order on 11/9, with an original completion day of 12/6, and now I probably won’t get it until after Xmas? That’s ridiculous.

I placed mine back in mid September. Haha. My CA told me that I would be one of the first of the 12/18 SOP builds.

According to the automated line, my completion date was moved forward 1 day and is now tomorrow, 12/7.
I'm not holding my breath, my completion date has changed from 12/5 to 12/8 and now 12/7.
My Garage still shows Production Begins.
Any guesses how long delivery takes to Denver?

I just noticed you and I are both in PA. Wonder if they'll come on the same truck? Mine finally moved from "Production begins" late last night to "Entering Assembly Line." The phone line still indicates it will be completed 12/6.

My december 7th completion date moved to the 11th. I wonder if a few of the problems that have came up will be addressed on the assembly line or do they just keep building and let the dealers repair. Seems like it would be a challenge to change software and things on a moving platform.

This morning, my status indicates- "Awaiting carrier assignment- a carrier has been assigned to take care of your BMW." I'm hoping this ships today- looks like great news!

I thought this was the case as well - I've been watching other builds do the same but I'm just completing 3 days in Quality Check and am now a week behind the initial communicated production completion date. I think BMV has also "parked" in Quality Check. Not sure about others.

I've also watched production dates slip from two days to three to four and now five. So something's bogging them down. I'm guessing some of the things they are finding in the real world are getting addressed in assembly but they need parts or software.
