MSRP limit, sure. $80k comes pretty quickly, especially on the 50e vs the 45e... Income limit, I doubt it. $300k income families aren't gonna buy dissuaded by the small price premium for the PHEV, and frankly would likely be V8 buyers anyways at that income level, if not looking above a BMW.

Yes, they reported prior to BMW so it was the first one I posted.

You surely can and do at times. Not in this case though, that is the table I used.

BMW North America announced 1st quarter sales of X5 for Q1 2024 was 14,923 (down 13.8% from 1st quarter 2023).

This follows full year sales of X5 for 2023 at 72,573 sold (down 12% from 2022).

X5 sales have come down from its peak in 2022. Still No 1 vehicle sold for BMW.

X6 sales have also slid from 2022.

Wonder if BMW Corporate is wondering why sales have declined.

Probably pretty much what they were expecting given the very limited production of the 50e and the V8 models for the US market.

I look at the prices of food, stuff at the mall, electronics, etc., and it really gets your attention. Ya gotta wonder where all this is going or if America will ever be affordable again for many people.
Absolutely inflation has slowed people down on these type of purchases and the fact they went up 15 plus percent and features are not available and new features are less desirable makes you keep what your driving Plus, their trade-ins value are ridiculous.

I'd guess $300k family probably would be able to comfortably afford a PHEV, V8 buyer probably $600k+?
