I just got 9.5% off plus 2k in rebates off my M50i

Solid deal. Are you financing or leasing? I had one dealer agree to a discount off sticker but wouldn't budge on his markup to money factor. Of the last 4 BMWs I've had this is definitely the most challenging buying period I've experienced!

You got a much better deal that what I was able to get in New England. My MSRP discount was only half that.

This is a great point because these "killer" deals aren't so great when the MF is marked up. This also leads people to have unrealistic expectations. A lot of dealers are happy to "play the game" and give a great price to make up the difference on the financing side.

John. I just ordered an M50i through A dealer in NH. Got 13.5 % off msrp including all incentives outside of the 1k back from the BMW group. Can't remember the name.

Yeah I know I could probably save a few grand if I haggled or shopped around some more. I'm trading a car as well so I feel I made some up on that as they came up a few grand from their original offer. I'm sure the dealers love it that I don't have the time or inclination to haggle.

Damn that's absurd relative to what's being offered in CA

I'm looking to lease a 40i optioned out and I can't find dealers in NY with any built to my liking. My only option is to build one and wait. I'm also only able to negotiate 7.5% off sticker before incentives. Anyone have a contact that can help me get to the 9-10% mark for an order?

That is what I first thought when I read it. I figured what he meant is that he is getting 10% off on an in stock vehicle and not a custom order.

It is not as likely as it used to be but still doable in some circumstances. 7-8% seems more of the upper norm.

Which dealership gave you that? I've been trying to find a dealership who would do that in California as well, but they highest is %7 off before incentives

Which dealer is this if you don't mind me asking? Can you PM me their contacts?

I'm in the market for custom ordering a 45e. Hoping I can get 10% off before incentives.

I'm in the tri-state area if anyone knows a dealer/broker that can get that amount please let me know! Thanks.

Your dealer gave you a good deal, make three payments before you pay it off so they don't get charged for the incentive.

Congratulations and hopefully the wait isn't too bad. Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

Thanks for the tip and good wishes. First BMW. Can you explain a little more about making minimum of 3 payments? Is ther a penalty if I pay it off sooner? SA told me that's illegal in CA, but finance is entitled to collect a minimum amount of interest ($250?), so I guess as your interest paid approaches the minimum contract interest total payments, THEN pay it off. That's about all I know about financiing.

Just noticed you have a phytonic blue and cognac combo. That's what I ordered for my 45e. Hated all the dash trim choices, but settled on Fineline as most compatible color with cognac. Hate the high gloss (looks like cheap plastic). Wish they offered Fineline in satin or semigloss. The matte finish on the ash is flat and lifeless.
