Thank you sir! PPF was applied to the full front along with the A, B, C pillars, lower side skirts, and the black pieces around the top part of the trunk. I’m thinking if I get tired of the wheels I have now, can always get them powder coated gloss black in the future. I’ll update you once I get the splitter and mirror caps installed.

I went with Xpel XR Plus 20% on the sides and over the privacy glass. For the rear windshield I went with 5% over privacy. The front windshield and sunroof are 70%. For some reason the pictures make it seem darker than it truly is. It’s honestly perfect and I highly recommend it. I’ll update once the splitter is installed.

I don't remember how Ontario bound vehicles travel but that would be normal for those going by train when it hits the ending, or intermediate, rail yard. By carrier it could be at a distribution center.

More modification progress pics. Ceramic coating complete and aftermarket M mirror caps installed. Shout out to Apex Auto Detail in Sugar Land for the phenomenal work. The paint is super slick now!

Up next my eBay special front splitter and hardwire Uniden R8 Radar detector. Hopefully it arrives in the next few days so I can make time next week to install it.

Looks absolutely awesome! The black mirror caps really help break it up a bit. Did you replace those yourself?

Yes sir. Super easy to do and you don’t have to pop off the mirrors themselves to get access to the two main clips. Under 10 mins to do both sides. There are YouTube videos showing how to do it.

Ours came in yesterday (first '25 X5 they got). Taking it for ceramic coating this week. Dealer only rinsed it instead of washing/detailing. Will post photos up once she is all shiny.

The status is shown in MyGarage and your CA or a call to Genius can get you your production week. Once you go into Production Begins, about two weeks prior to assembly, then you can use the "F12" process to get your production date. Production Begins means that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. Actual assembly takes less than a day, around 4 hours or so.
