I alternate carry between the loaded 1911 govt and fn mk2 surplus gun. Check out aim surplus if interested, mine has decent amount of patina but looks great and nice shooter. Need to change out mainspring cuz unsure if it's been done. Initially had ftf issue but was just the oe mag spring being soft.

Seriously though, i've got a couple of EOTECHs, Trijicon SRSs, Trijicon RMR & ACOG and Aimpoint Micro. Aimpoint micro 2moa with Larue mount is about the best bang for your buck when it comes to red dots. Simple, doesn't weigh much, rugged, long battery life.... still one of my faves among the other heavy hitters. It's only second behind the Trijicon SRSs i have mounted on the Tavor and Sr-15. But if you factor in price of the two, the Aimpoint Micro has to be the winner at 1/3 the cost.

I used to have an Argentine Police issued FN Hi Power. Looked beat to hell compared to the safe queen. It didn't run very smooth. I was a little bummed. Wound up selling it a few years ago.

Mine operates and runs smoothly and with 15+1 not a had option for me. Sights aren't adjustable and they are a bit off.
