Shadowline grill 2023

Unfortunately my lease with Mercedes is coming to an end. Picking up a mineral white 23 x5 x40 with the m sport package.

Don't have the time to order a car but found the almost exact car im looking for at a dealer.

I want to add the shadowline grill. I see the 2022 ones all over the place. Are there any changes from 22-23 that wouldn't make the grill fit?

Also should I go oem or are there good aftermarket brands?

I have a 19, so cannot comment on 23, but assume it is the same since it looks identical, so as long as the tabs havent changed, I'd go for it...

with that said, if you search on Amazon for a black G05 grill, you'll find what you're looking for. anything thats non-OEM will be somewhat the same for the most part, but the one I ordered from Amazon came in decent quality and have had zero issues with.

Hey, new here. Also not new to BMW world. Had a BMW 2002ti in the 70's. Just buying my first one since (45e) week 45. Wondered, how hard was swapping the grill? Also, could you share the vendor you used? There are quite a few on Amazon and not sure how to tell good from bad. Thanks!

Buy an OEM. They are not that much more than who knows what Chinese version. Just bought a BMW one for $227 shipped. Why pay $100 for an aftermarket one.

That is a G30 grill and would not fit the G05

This is excellent advice that should be taken. So much of this Chinese knock off stuff is junk that looks OK at first but does not age well and will look like shit in 2 years. It is cheaper for a reason. You get what you pay for in this arena.

What is the difference between the three types of grill for 2022 X5 xDrive 40i?
Mine is all chrome. I would prefer chrome surround with black 7 single slats.
