Proper Track Height Setup (coilovers needed)

Here's a video showing how to correctly setup your ride height for optimal handling.

^^^ How NOT to setup your car for the track.

Do it properly - get your car corner-balanced.

this... However, given the relatively soft spring rates and the fact that these cars are pretty balanced from the factory, corner balance is not essential for our cars.

to OP: why do you assume that the rocker panels are all even and identical? Same with your garage floor?
I didn't see or hear you talk about checking tire pressure and tread wear on the tires! If these are off the height would be off.
Sorry, the video might help someone but to me is useless.

I had mine corner balanced, after eyeballing the height adjustment on my coilovers. Guess what? All of the corners were within 5lbs of eachother.

I'd still recommend a proper height adjustment and corner balance though, if you can get it done.

From what I researched and per the wise words of TC Kline (www.tcklineracing.com) corner balancing is not necessary for our cars. Our cars come balanced from the factory. If you're building a race car and gutted the crap out of it then a corner balance would probably be a good idea.

You can measure from the fenders but you're fenders can be uneven too. Checking tire pressure and using an even garage floor goes without saying.

Just count the threads on your spring collars. That's what I do. Relying on body panels can always be a little off. If you are running stiff sway bars or anything, even tiniest difference in ground height could lead to inaccurate measurements of the body height. So assuming your shocks and springs are installed correctly, measuring the threads on the spring adjusters is much more accurate.
