Carbon Black F95 X5MC Build
Hey everyone! Just picked up a carbon black X5MC last week and I've already done some mods to it and more to come. Going to be posting more pics and info on mods as they are completed on the F95.
Carbon black with Silverstone interior Mods so Far: Ceramic Coating in & out H&R Lowering Springs Future Classic Spacers 15mm Front/18mm Rear Evolution Secondary Cat Mods to Come: -Forged 22's in gloss black or I may just Powder Coat the OEM Wheels Gloss Black -Carbon Front Lip on Order -Carbon Fiber Side Skirts -Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers -I Have Been Toying with the Idea of Having the Calipers done in Dakar Yellow with //M logo intact (I think this will go very well with the overall exterior colors) -Proper Tune When Available and Downpipes UPDATE 8/9: Decided unfortunately the slightly “uneven” and small drop the H&R springs offer isn’t for me. Ordered MSS springs and will list the h&r springs for sale if anyone is interested. Ordered and waiting for delivery of HRE 22” wheels, painted rear reflector delete, carbon fiber front lip, carbon rear diffuser, carbon mirror covers, carbon side skirts and carbon/alcantara steering wheel from Azaautowheel. Still painting the calipers Dakar yellow. Once all of this is installed, I’ll be updating the thread! Can’t wait! Details: I've had several M cars; my last one being an F85 X5M with tune and downpipes, but these trucks are worlds apart. Everything from ride quality and quality of build in and out have been completely overhauled for the better. I'm loving it, couldn't be happier with my choice. I hope you guys are enjoying yours as much as I am : ) In the 2nd picture that was the first day after the springs were installed. It's settled about half an inch lower now. I will be taking better pics soon!

CBM is beautiful color, id suggest PPF as i remember pains of keeping swirls and rock chips away from my CBM M3..

I have CB and driven it for about 7500km now... this color is high maintenance...
Love your idea about having the Calipers done in Dakar Yellow with //M logo intact Please share updates! |

How's the interior during daylight driving. Do you find that it's too bright or distracting? I have this selected for my build (X6MC) but haven't been able to see it in person.

Just washed my car (again) this morning… need to get it wrapped. Every single mark on the CB is driving me crazy….
What do you think about this? |

Sorry for the late response! It’s not distracting to me at all. My previous F85 X5M had red interior and that was more distracting. The silver stone is very easy on the eyes and it actually makes me a bit more calm when I climb in for some reason jajaja
