Same problem exactly with ‘21 x5 45e. Didn’t always happen. Seems to have started this year. When cold outside, after first start in electric mode, I get the jerk when taking off from a start. I do have the hill start assist on and when this is happening and I’m on a hill, starting from a stop, it also rolls back when I remove my foot from the break. Only happens for about the first 5 minutes, then no more jerk.
I notice it easily because when I first leave work, the first stoplight out of the lot is on a hill. That’s where I notice the backward rolling. It also jerks on flat road when cold.
Now that the weather is warming, it’s gonna be difficult for the dealer to duplicate the problem. This does not happen when the weather is warmer.
