Unable To Set Clock

Hello everyone,

I'm a first time BMW owner and new to the forum. I purchased a 2024 X5 M Sport last week, and trying to become better acquainted with all of the features.

My clock is currently an hour off, and I cannot change it manually. When I go into the clock settings, all of the sections to change anything are grayed out and a message comes up "function not available" as I attempt to click on the various sections. Any suggestions on how to get around that are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You should be able to go into settings for the clock and switch it off of daylight savings time.

Mine would not adjust for the DST automatically so I just changed the time manually, as described above. Seems to be a software bug that is common.

I just did this: Touched the digital clock display in the upper right corner of the screen. That brought up a time adjustment menu. Shut off "automatic" time changes. Re-activated "automatic" time changes. That fixed it.

The odd thing is that when I tried all of these steps yesterday, including a couple of "reboots" of my X5, nothing worked...manual or automatic. I kept getting the same error message every time. This morning I started up the vehicle and was able to adjust the clock manually without any problems. Very odd. Thanks everyone.
