Finally Status 153!
Do you think Saturday delivery is doable, hoping no delays in shipping/QC?

Not holding my breath, but would love to have a weekend with her and I alone, and the instructions manual lol.

I think that may be pushing it especially since you have a 50e and it needs to be fully charged as part of PDI.

You don't need to wait to look at the owner's manual. I always suggest reading it at least once, perhaps twice, prior to delivery. You can either use the generic one I posted or get a VIN from a dealer's site (yours may work depending on the timing) from a similarly spec'd vehicle and use that to get the owner's manual.

Thanks!
I hope so too. They can take all the time they need to ensure everything works lol.
I was joking on another post about getting the delivery by Dec 13, since I ordered it on Oct 13 and it went to production on Nov13.
I didn't mean this to literally happen.

Thats true. I assume more time in QC means, they found something and its taken care. one less headache.

11/6 - production begins, status 150
11/20 - build complete, QC, awaiting carrier assignment

I called genius and it looks like my status of "at the port" for the last week is not totally correct. She stated the vehicle is in transit to the Richmond port and scheduled to arrive on 12/9. I hope she's right.

12/2 - still at port, genius reports vehicle in transit to Richmond eta 12/9

TurtleBoy : My car reached the dealership yesterday. He emails me saying that the car is ready to be shipped to them.
Why would he be lying?
My wife thinks he wants to keep the car on the display until he gets another one in the lot.
I fear he might use it for test drive. The internal roads they use for test drive is only 2-4 miles.
What do you think he is lying for? Don’t want to look desperate by directly going there.

He may not be lying. The status sometimes shows At the Dealership when it is not. For example, for my X5 it showed At the Dealership on a Saturday morning but it didn't physically arrive there until the following Wednesday evening. Sometimes the carrier processes the delivery paperwork early and that causes the problem from what we can determine.

Just to put your and your wife's mind at ease I would give him a call and say that you have been tracking it and it shows it was delivered to the dealership yesterday. If he sounds fine with his response then it could be a status tracking mistake. If not, maybe take a swing by and check things out. Let us know how things turn out.

Got it! Sounds plausible. He emailed today and it’s ready to go. Picking up tomorrow.
