I said this the other week when I saw the photos and it looks like they're just slapping the X6 grills on it possibly tweaking the headlights to look similar to the G80.

First section of video looks like the current F95. Even the others looked like the same rear lights.
LCI should be new grill with new front and rear lights.

Front M air intake needs to drop the horizontal/vertical plastic—just need a large front air scoop, as ACC isn't need for a M car.

Good to see BMW finally realizing their iconic twin kidney grill does not lend itself well to hugeness.

I wouldn't expect my i4 to get to 5... probably about the same there (slightly smaller battery, but also less weight and power it seems).

Granted, my M8 wouldn’t have gotten much further than 7 on a good day.

Got the point. I agree vertical slats are more BMW than anything else.

G87'ish horizontal slats. I think it looks great.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't realize it was a custom build. I saw one another one that was built last year and it is gorgeous. Glad to see another hit the road. Any chance this person will eventually remove all the mule cladding? (Back in the day I desperately wanted an RS4 however Audi never released a B5 RS4 in NAR so I wound up building one. Lengthy project but absolutely worthwhile. I would revisit that project on a F31 chassis if it was not labor intensive.)

I would prefer matching the vents to the grills. If the lower vents are honey comb then the upper grill should be as well or if the kidney are slats then the lower should match whether vertical or horizontal.

No way. Kidney grill must be vertical. Other vents can be horizontal or hobeycomb
