I actually have since switched the slats to all black

It means I have lost the glowing feature but I'm okay with that. I Just fancied a change.

I too think the all black looks more aggressive

Not mine. Showed up to the dealership the morning I came to get my X5 (G05). Had a bit of buyers remorse with my car next to it.

If you were replacing your 35i with a 40i, your checkbook certainly thanked you!

This really looks phenomenal. Love the interior too.

As for buyers remorse, I can certainly understand that! Hard not to when your car is parked next to it!

Have you seen one in the flesh? It really is a car that looks so much better in real life. The photographs are bizarre - I feel like I have seen 20 different vehicles depending on the angle. But, they are great looking in the flesh. really amazing

It was the same for me. I was already specing the X5, but then i saw this gorgeous beast in Arctic Grey at my dealership. I don't remember ever chaning my mind so fast It's true, it has some "weird" details that might not look proper on photos and videos, but in real life - that's completely different. Even my wife, who calls all SUVs (or alike) boxes on wheels, fell in love with it. She still hates the X5 for some reason

I believe we do not have to convince nobody to like this X6, you don't like it, don't buy it, easy, to each his own but at the same time don't bash me for liking it IMHO, the X6 is the second best looking Bimmer nowadays after the 8

True, both have the right proportions because of their well calibrated size in each segment. To me, the 8 looks great because it has the classical sharp coupe shape that just feels right and proportional. On the other hand, the X6 is not a classic beauty in any sense of the word, but is just in your face in every aspect, badass all the way. Bigger, better, stronger...

G06 owner btw, but would take the 8 as a second car any day...

I must say, Coronavirus and forthcoming recession really takes the shine off a luxury car forum.

Hope everyone is well
