Bizarre Service Reminders?

My X5 50e is now 6 months old. 4 weeks after purchasing it, the check engine light came on and it spent 6 weeks at the dealer - getting the 'battery control module' replaced.

The car has 3900 miles on it. Yesterday, an alert showed up on the dashboard - "Oil service required". Obviously, this makes no sense for a car with only 3900 miles on it. Got a SA on the phone...he was clueless, and could only suggest that I bring the car in.

Today, on the MyBMW phone app, 3 bizarre service reminders have now appeared:

"Engine oil - overdue since 7997 miles"
"Brake fluid - overdue since August 2026" (yes, it actually says 2026)
"Vehicle check - overdue since 40,998 miles"

I don't get it. Has the car had a stroke?

BMW's PR department is sure doing a great job of keeping these rampant reliability issues out of the public eye.

When you go to the vehicle service screen in iDrive (inside the car)...do you get the same service due info as you're seeing on your phone?

If not, could be a phone/app problem...not the vehicle.

I don't know what the service screen looks like in the latest iDrive version...but past versions look like this:
