These forums account for a very small %’age of BMW owners so.

It is my wifes daily drive and her work round trip is only 11 miles, so the battery only gets depleted on Sunday on our COSTCO run. I have had a few runs of 50 plus range at 55-60 mph. WLTP is the range under very controlled conditions on a rolling road at an average speed of 46 kph or about 28 mph. You're right WLTP is mostly fantasy, but not too far off if you drive like the test.
That’s weird. In Minnesota here and even when it’s 20 or 30 out last few weeks, we dont break 30… not sure how you are getting close to 40. Owned the vehicle in Texas for a bit and best we got was mid/high 30’s so no idea how you are managing to get 42-46 in a full charge consistently.

Adaptive cruise is a very important feature to me which I use all the time. From neighborhood streets to the interstate. I've been in many different brands of vehicles with adaptive cruise and I know of none that do not have the gap adjustment buttons on the steering wheel.

Anyone else bothered by the fact that the MY24's won't have this feature so easily accessible?

It’s like the designers weren’t allowed to make the grill as big as the M3 so they created a workaround with that black bottom

ACC Best thing since sliced bread. So how is the gap adjusted now?

M60i is £6220 / $7511 more for standard car than M50i in UK.

Initially when ID8 was announced I didn’t like the fact that the button was removed. Especially since the steering wheel is basically the same with solid space there. I’m past that now because since I’ve gotten 7/22 ID7 update I noticed that closer following distance doesn’t slam on the brakes like it used to. I imagine people on newer versions probably have even better performance, so I agree with you. I have 2020 X5, so I probably won’t get the 11/22 update. Seems like ID8 drivers haven’t reported the harsh braking.

Buried in iDrive menus. It should come with the same option as now to have it automatically adjust based on conditions, not 100% sure if there are changes to that aspect of it as I don't use that feature on mine. But still a PITA for those who liked having the button to adjust quickly.

BMW could offer $7500 pass through on leasing like they currently are with i4 35 and iX 50.

Sec 45W of IRA has no NA built requirement, battery minimums, msrp maximums, or income limits for leasing.

You must be kidding.

How can they have such important functions (adjust distance and switch to regular cruise) in a menu?

I think that BMW is taking missteps with the UX developments. A premium car should have buttons and switches. Touch screens belong to inexpensive cars. Is the touch UI even safe?

Yes... I remember seeing an email on that from the local dealer last week.
That will the 50e a very attractive proposition.

......it still irks me that it had been 5+ years without a light Grey/Silver option for the regular X5's.......but of course there were always 3 blacks and 2 whites.

so that's cool at least

There won't be a $7500 credit to pass thru on the 50e.

Shame as this is what makes these SUVs really drive like a BMW should. I wonder if it will still be available on the X5M LCI.
The german configurator has the "Adaptive M suspension professional" as an option, and the corresponding FAQ seems to imply that his includes the above active anti-roll bars, but not sure.
