The Pcar boys and girls are having the same a/c discussion over on the Rennlist Cayenne 9Y0 forum.

I just came back from a bike ride...the X5 was sitting in the sun, and the ambient temperature was 90F...the a/c upper vents were aimed towards me, and within a couple of miles, my hands were getting a bit too cold. Now, I have a 45e, but the 50e should be similar. The a/c on the mild hybrids is different, though. The compressor on the PHEVs is electrically driven, not engine driven, so always operates at the ideal RPM.
