Which HAS kit do you recommend ?
I'm going to be doing my break in service on my car soon I'm 200 miles away.. I was just wondering what you guys think with experience , I was thinking of going with the m performance has kit? But I wanted some feedback.. Not looking to do coil overs bc I don't track and figured it would be a waste.. I was initially thinking the kw has kit but people been have bad experiences with that kit... If I do m performance I'll just has the stealership do it if it's reasonable.

I had the first generation KW HAS kit on my 15’ and it wasnt very confidence inspiring. The ride quality was decent but it felt skiddish on corners with less than perfect surfaces. I’ve read that the version 2 are better. I have the MPerformance HAS going in on Thursday, I’ll report back.

The M Performance kit is legit. The ride quality minimally changes from stock ZCP but it feels more planted. I only have 100 miles on the car but I highly recommend it.

The peace of mind (warranty) of M Performance parts certainly has its appeal, though I do believe that KW is one of the best at walking the fine line between all around road compliancy and performance delta. Being able to witness their testing process definitely makes you appreciate what they're doing. KW goes well beyond performance to ensure their product also stands up to the elements.
The first time I drove a car with a KW HAS kit (V2), I was honestly quite impressed with its capabilities. Even coming from KW Clubsports on my E90, you could still tell the suspension was cut from a similar cloth, all with the added benefit of EDC. Technically speaking, the KW kit does have a slightly narrowing front spring, allowing for a bit more clearances with aggressive wheel/tire combinations, but either way you go, I think you'll be happy with the change! Feel free to PM if you have any more specific questions

While retaining factory warranty has its appeal, I'll be doing the install work myself, as I've done on my other cars in the past. I would think BMW wouldn't warranty M performance kit installed by DYIers right? |

I'd recommend the BMW M Performance HAS. I Just picked up my car last weekend and love the drop. It feels more planted (less floaty).

+1 for MP HAS kit, I've had kw v3s, Eibachs springs and now MP HAS ... love it the best out of 3, love the drop and car rides so much better and planted, bounciness of the coilovers is not there at any speed, I actually set it high intitially but ride was so good that I actually lowered it even further and still love the ride.

I have the new H&R version...I love mine. I drove a M3 with the MP and i like the feel better. Its very similar in feel..but i think it feels better in higher speed corners like longer, uneven sweepers. Thats my .02 lol

Is there an actual part number for this "MP HAS"? I will like to have the benefit of confirming the correct item is being bought from when I get ready to pull the trigger.

This may be the solution I am looking for. I tried to get out of my civic 2016 F80 and into a 2018 ZCP but I have too many miles and would take a $14k hit.
