Any suggestions for a first timer BMW X5 2024 with M sport Like 1) Any break in time for engine not to exceed speed for certain number of miles ? 2) Any M sport break suggestions ? to avoid squealing issue. 3) PPF vs Ceramic Coating which one is better approach ? 4) Any other suggestions from experts on this forum would be of great help thank you |

Do you have it yet? If not, all of the break-in stuff is in the user's manual. The PDF of the manual is available online, and is a good idea to start reading as there's a huge amount to learn about the vehicle and all of the systems.

As far as PPF vs Ceramic Coating, PPF is a clear film that will protect your car against rock chips while the ceramic coating will take care of lighter blemishes like bird poo and bugs, without damaging your paint. I had ppf put on the entire front of my X5 after getting stuck on badly paved freeway with hundreds of tiny rocks all over that were being thrown over the front of my X5, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack since I literally picked the vehicle up a couple weeks before that. PPF went on a week later..

It was $2500.00 to do the entire front end, including the fenders. I also had ceramic coating applied to the entire vehicle after the PPF was applied. Total cost was $3200.00, and they tinted my front windows while the vehicle was there for two days.
