My dealer won't budge past 5.3% off MSRP (MSRP = 71,820 which includes dest fee). I offered as low as 7% off MSRP and he would not take that. No mfr incentives. He knows we're ready to put down a deposit for an custom order.
The secret seems to be location. If you look at the thread carefully you will notice that good discounts tend to come from dealers in the Northeast tri-state area. New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, etc. If you can make it to this region you should be able to land 10% off MSRP without much hassle.

I will do one better. Keep getting requests to share that dealer info – I will ask him if he was OK with that, and will post his contact details publicly in this forum. Give it till Tuesday when he’s back at the office.

Thank you for doing this! Lets hope he says yes. Else please PM. I am struggling here to even get a 4-5% off MSRP on the outgoing 2019 model.

Ok, so the guy is Ray from BMW of Springfield. His direct line is 973-379-7744. He is a straight shooter.

Thank you for this detail. I had to haggle hard with my dealer and ended up taking 6% off msrp. Figured that shipping the vehicle coast to coast etc will end up costing similar.. thank you again! And apologies if I wasted your time

Excellent to know...I’m likely going to start the process once incentives kick in.

I don't have final numbers since I didn't take delivery yet. New MSRP is now $75520, monthly payment should be $896 with $2000 DAS + $6300 MSD. See Leasehackr calculator

Hopefully there will be Conquest available buy the time I take delivery and I since obtained an OL code which could add $500 or $1000 in discount.
Does the OL code apply to 2020 orders? I thought they were just for dealer 2019 stock.

Some OL codes include 2020 models. It depends on the wording of your OL code.

Can you name a couple of dealers. I live in Florida but visit my family who live in Winchester and Ashburn areas in VA. If the Florida dealers stick to their ridiculously low discounts I will contact the dc guys. Much appreciated.

If you're still looking for a lease and need a broker recommendation, reach out to me. my experience ended up being great, and I'm comfortable to make the recommendation now. I'm not going to share as there may be forum sponsors/revenue implications, so feel free to PM

Accept full responsibility if he does not turn out to be all that great... bout can you at least share his name?....
And this impatient guy - I take the time to send over a 500 or so word write-up on the entire process, not even an acknowledgement of receipt..

Good luck all - if in the tri-state area, or wanting to do PCD, feel free to reach out for lease broker recommendation - my experience was smooth.

Make sure to knock down their doc fee
Jersey dealers have ridiculous doc fees ranging from $295-$695 for something that shouldn't be more than $75.

In Florida the doc fees are unregulated by the state and I have paid $700 to $900 when buying my last two vehicles; Jaguar and Maserati. Dealers down here know it and take advantage. This time around I intend to include in my questionnaire their doc and prep fees as part of my overall deal. The discount off MSRP is most important, however I intend to evaluate all other costs as well.

I just extended my current X5 lease for two months. So I can hunt for a good deal. Anyone know of any dealers in the US willing to do 10%+ off MSRP? Need referrals ASAP.

I highly recommend Passport BMW but I won't do any business with BMW of Sterling. I recently had a very negative experience with them. For the second dealership I recommend BMW of Silver Spring. Both Passport and Silver Spring are 2019 COE awardees and high volume dealers.

Can you elaborate more on your negative experience? I also have PassportBMW as my favorite dealer in the DC metro area. However I always thought of BMW of Sterling as my second choice
