I got to know from BMW genius customer care that my vehicle is schedule to start production on Feb 27, while i placed order through dealer on feb 11 2023. Are they really going to deliver my vehicle before 31st march 2023?

If your production date is Feb 27th and you are in Atlanta you should get it by March 2nd or so.

That is going to depend on whether it first goes there and then comes to you and what the timing is of your transportation. As far as getting to the dealer in Maryland it should take a day or two once it is dispatched.

Assuming the 27th is your production date then it should be finished that day assuming it goes through QC. As long as carriers are available it should ship out the next day or two. Are you in the Production Begins status now?

We have to wait until you are in Production Begins, the prodDate will be filled in. That usually occurs about two weeks prior to the production date. That should happen any day if the 27th is your date.

Hey all - I placed an order for 40i today and its in production. Order status on build says 112- scheduled for daily. BMW Genius says its week 9 production. Dealer is in MD. Any idea when can I expect my car?

Should be a few days after it is completed. Week 9 is the 27th through the 5th so on the outside you should get it by the 7th.

As an aside, it is not in production. That will occur on your production date.

Once dispatched it will take a day or two. If all is normal they are dispatched within a day or two after being completed.

but i cannot see the production date. How do i see production date? Also, mine is 40i - does 40i gets built and ship faster than 45e?

You need to use the F12 process and look at the prodDate data item. If you can't find it, post or PM me your VIN.

The build time and shipping's the same.

As we talked about, the production date won't be filled in until you go into production begins. You likely will see the status change over the next few days.
