Rally Armor Style Mud Flaps on X5

Has anyone installed Rally Armor style universal mud flaps on their X5?

I am thinking about ordering a set, as they were perfect on my previous vehicles, but those had "direct fit" options.

Basically, they are flexible, high coverage flaps.

Not my style but they look like they would work well. I have a set of the more moderate style that I bought from Amazon.

Full maxton kit in gloss black. I will grab photos of the front install when I get home. Imagine a drill and plastic rivets. That's what it's going to look like.

Flooring is swisstrax ecotrax.

How do you like the kit? Any regrets for fitment, quality or other? It seems reasonably priced as well.

Shipped promptly, packaged well and great fit. Much better than the CF lip on my m4.

All, I did not use plastic rivets like I thought. Used the screws in the picture. It makes a huge impact on keeping the vehicle clean. Don't mind how messy the door side looks. Wife drive through a river (her words).

Thank you!
Are the screws through the mud flaps in an OEM location, or did you have to drill new holes in the fender liner?

Beautiful car, the Maxton kit looks great all the way around. I added the front splitter to mine recently and seeing it (and yours) has persuaded me to do the rest. One question - do the Maxton side skirts interfere with the puddle lights in any way?

I have the same question, i bought the side skirts as well but didnt see anything saying in the maxton website mentioning something about the puddle light, it shouldn't

Which flaps did you buy? The basics or the UR? And where did you get the hardware? It looks like the universal ones don’t come with hardware now.

I was going though the site and saw this nice angle picture of your vehicle. Are you running spacers? If so, what sizes? I’m running the same set but don’t have this look. Thanks! Looks great.
