Joined prior to purchase. Took delivery of 50e in August ‘23. Build week 32. No issues other than some minor software quirks with iDrive that require a reboot and it goes away. They are not 50e specific. Approx 4,000 miles.

Yes for CEL issue at 4200 kms mid-December and infotainment going black.

Remote diagnosis for coolant valve stuck open. Took it to the dealership and was there for 2 days. All they did was update the iDrive to the November update.

Waiting for the next issue to happen.

Joined before purchase.
CEL at aprox. 800 miles: refrigerant valve stuck open, one time event. Light reset.
CEL at aprox. 5500 miles: intake air temp sensor replaced.
Random battery/drivetrain fault messages currently.
Random iDrive screen goes black requiring reset.

It’s my wife’s car, she is frustrated with it. In comparison, our F15 is mostly trouble free.

Check engine light just come on 2 days ago (but not flashing) after car was left outside overnight in recent cold weather spell. Dealer said it was safe to drive if CEL not flashing, so scheduled next available dealer service following week.

check engine light went away after 2 days in home garage. Don't know what the error code was yet.

Had two recalls: rear bumper and possible fuel leak, both did not affect my 50e.

Only problems are a noisy, rattly sunroof and a squeaky massage seat.

Joined forum prior to purchase. Took delivery of my 50e at the end of November. About a month later got the drivetrain malfunction message on the screen. I powered the car down and started it back up and it hasn't come back since. Dealer scanned remotely and did not find any errors.

Fast forward to this past week and the check engine light is on. There are no messages on the screen or in the live vehicle app. I've been told it's safe to drive by the dealership and will be brining it in next week. Seems to be driving fine but still concerning that a $115,000 (Canadian) vehicle with 2000kms on it is having such issues.

Outside of that, I'm like others. I love the car. Look forward to driving it. Drives great.

Today drivetrain malfunction msg, asking roadside assistance to tow it out tomorrow.

Didn’t want to wait for a new build, found a used 50e with 5700 miles. Previous owners had a CEL at 2k miles. Replaced SME/BMU and replaced CSC modules.

I’m at 6k miles now with no issues. Loving it.

Interesting data. I know the sample size is only 55 at the moment but that is a high percentage with a problem and to the dealer.
