I trade in a 640d GT. We had a fixed price. That was one of the things I made sure when signing the contract. The sales rep didn't fill in the date on the trade in document. In the document in Belgium includes a part that states that is delivery is delayed the buy ik price can be revised. As he deliberately didn't put a date this didn't matter. So better read your contract for the trade in it might include something that they can revise the price. They bought the car from the leasing company for the price we decided on. Because I had be paying 3 more months they had to pay less to the leasing company. I asked for the difference in cash but that was difficult. So I had the winterwheels, rubber mats, ceramic coating for free. |

So went to see the car.
All is well for the most part... Car hasn't been prepared yet, but I noticed swirling in the paintwork. Seats.. look worse on the picture than in real life. Noticed a bit of an airgap between the leather and the cushion on the actual seat. Sales guy is raising it with his boss. No issues with any symmetry of the rear lights. Flaps for charging and fuel were all ok and aligned correctly. Current vs New:

We're in no rush for the PDI (as you can see from the photo!) We want our charging point installed first.

Hey all. I "Started Production" on May 18th and it finally changed status today after zero changes. Today June 6th jumping right to "Entering Assembly Line". Whats odd is that its supposed to be completed in two days Monday June 8th per customer relations a few days ago. Seems super odd LOL that my car can be done in less than two days and its just entering assembly line. Any insights? Thanks!

Thanks for the information, useful to know, our existing X5 40e is with BMW Finance, the dealer secured the extension of our lease PCP to end of September on the basis the car will be delivered by then, good point I never thought the trad-in value will change after order completed and deposit payed, as the original trading offer was revised after the dealer found out that the delivery will be pushed to Sep (before lockdown), and they lost a slot they had for a deliver in June/July, so they revised the the trading value, we agreed and payed the deposit! I need to look into this, I will no accept another drop on our trade in, after all the we still paying BMW for the extension of the PCP, so minimum I expect BMW to cover the difference with the dealer as the delay is down to outside our scope. it will be interesting to see how they handle this on the basis we now 20 years in business.

Just checked online, still 150. I went to 150 seven days after you, so if it follows, it'll be 153 on 6/12 for me.
