myBMW Year End Driving Review
Found the attached YE driving data review in myBMW app.
Pretty interesting and informative. I wonder what use cases for this data are in the works. I can envision insurance offers for sure. Perhaps even ‘time to replace’ tires offers ans the like? 13.2 mpg. 😈

I saw that on my app and wondered how would this information improve or not my driving? Not sure I have an answer.

They would have to gamify and make the app easier to access. Like closing rings on Apple Watch. Perhaps better MPG closes a ring. Otherwise this info is buried.
I think BMW will use data in some way to generate revenu. I meet with top consumer electrinic OEMs and they all want to monetize data. It’s the ‘how’ that’s challenging.
