I’ve not activated this on my x5 M60i yet, as I’m not sure it’s worth it. For those that have, any thoughts?

I’ve been told by my carrier (Verizon) this is not supported by them.

It's T-MOBILE's service. Originally I bought it to provide service for my children's tablets, but now I mostly use it for work, since i don't let them bring tablets on short drives. I guess it depends on how much the service is worth to you. I don't really get my monies worth, but like having it available.

Can you expand on what you were told? The myBMW app shows Verizon as an eligible provider and there's even a Verizon knowledge base article about how to activate personal eSIM.

I attempted to follow the steps on my 2024 X5 but it fails to activate.

I get directed to Verzion > click shop plans > authenticate > it says "xxx-xxx-xxxx is already onboarded, please go back to your vehicle's app > redirects me back to mybmw > "Something went wrong. Please try to activate your personal eSIM again." pops up
