Press release was from September 2023, but just saw that BMWBlog also posted this. What market is this for as only 25 units to be produced? Deerskin is interesting, as PETA will have a field day with this. Not a fan of either Malachite or Urban Green.

Not sure how I feel about that deer leather as part of the dashboard trim… what’s that about? Is it also on the steering wheel? Definitely a different look, this has got be one of those “you have to see it in person” to appreciate.

Nothing wrong with Deere leather and it’s not a PC thing - Deere control is important and I’m certain that they are using the leather from the legal hunting of the species. Besides, deereskin gloves are sublime and soft so the same product in a limited production vehicle would be just fine.
