MY25 X5 week 19

After much thought about how we wanted our new X5 configured, the dealer put our order in April 17th. We got a production number and started watching for the VIN. I called BMW Genius to get the assigned build week which turned out to be week 19 - wow this is going fast. My wife logged in and saw we just got our VIN - YIPPEE!!! We also asked our Client Advisor to sign us up for the Performance Center Delivery. Now that we have the VIN, we're going to work on getting a PCD date so we can make hotel and flight arrangements. This is so exciting - hopefully it all works out smoothly!

We ordered a Carbon Black X5 xDrive40i with Tartufo Merino Leather.
We also selected the Premium, Driver Assistance Pro and Climate Comfort Packages. The M Sport Package is part of the Carbon Black Color option.

You got the VIN using the f12 method?

We didn’t use the F12 method, the number showed up in MY GARAGE right under the picture of our car.

Nope the VIN didn’t require F12, just the production date (05/07/2024).

Does anyone know if the status in My Garage actually updates intraday? Or is it just overnight/once per day update?

I am not sure. If I knew that I would check it less often.

It appears that way. Earlier in day all I had was a production number. I checked tonight and it’s in production with a VIN.
