I'd have to guess they still don't exist...
I see Jason updated some other models with some 2021 numbers, so if these were available, surely they would have been posted. My CA dodged my questions about them today. Since he expects it will likely be September by the time my X5 arrives at the dealer (after production, transport, and VDC processing), I'm guessing September might be the first month for actual numbers. Perhaps there might be more of a supply chain delay than it appears, and none of them will land until September at the earliest. On the other hand, maybe the numbers will become available when the first models start leaving Spartanburg. Purely speculation for now... |

thanks for the info. i meant to write "eta" on 2021 models...otherwise i know jason has been great to update what is available!
i've seen a few members posting their x5 builds. completion dates have been within the first couple of weeks in august. hoping once they are completed that bmw will release the info. i noticed x3m details have been released but not so great...oh well.

I see Jason has this Finance Credit listed for August "(40i xDrive) $2500 finance credit" How does this work? Where is it applied in calculating the net purchase cost?

In my search for an M-Sport 40i's, there just isn't that much inventory right now for the 2020s at least in the northeast. So dealers weren't willing to let their cars go for more then 6% off MSRP and the excuse I got from them was that "they are high in demand". I had no problem waiting for the 2021 and got a decent deal on an order. The dealer was even willing to put in a better incentive if its available at the time of delivery.

One of the smaller dealers I follow in Facebook showed a before and after shot of their lot. They are pretty much out of cars and desperately need the 2021 to start coming in to replenish stocks.

How did you confirm the 0.9%. Is that just on the 45e? Dealer is telling me it’s 2.9% with 1k incentive on 40i. I’m not coming from a BMW.
Edit: I mean on ‘21 order

Then I used a car buying contact I had (PM me and I'll send you his contact- well worth it). He had a deal with 8% off MSRP plus the $3,000 in rebates which made almost $10k in discounts. My local dealer ended up matching that deal so I took that as it means I don't have to worry about getting it 400 miles away. It's also easier as if the new X5 comes in early I can give my leased one back to him early. We filled out the BMW financial credit app online and as we already are a customer all the previous data just populated. It gives a drop down for all the BMW models and then it will tell you the financing options available. 0.9% came up for the '21 X5 so I expect that it's available to everyone (unless it somehow knows your credit rating and can tailor it to that). We have a very good credit score so have always been able to get quite low financing rates. I did not look at the other X5 models though as I was only interested in the 45e. MSRP $78,045 Final price after discount and rebates $68,800 Document fees and registration $400 CCA rebate $1,000 Federal tax credit $7,500 Final cost $60,700 not including sales tax ( but you can't avoid that unless you live in a state with no sales tax).

Getting my first bimmer
Excited to get my first bimmer even if some options I wanted are gone.
Got an offer of about 8% of MSRP not incentives or rebates added, hopefully when getting delivery on September we could get some good incentives due to labor day holiday. MSRP $103,500 M50i 2021 Final price $95500 without incentives. Do you guys thinks I got a good deal? Please let me know. Thanks |

Even if you're not a BMW Financial customer, it still takes you to that screen before you input personal details. This is a good tip for people to be able to cross-check what their dealer is telling them. Right now, when I pick a 40i, it's showing 1.9%, which is what I expected. I think I read somewhere that existing BMW customers get an extra point off the rate.

Nice, That will be good. Post your build! The discount is good. Is this a lease or purchase? I am waiting to take delivery until September to see if anything else comes up incentive wise... now only $750
