Hi guys,

First post here so be gentle...
Picked up my new 330i M Sport Plus a couple of weeks ago, and today I gave it its first proper wash, and here's where my problem arose...

I used my usual wash routine, (Foam pre wash, 2 Bucket, GTechniq W6 Iron and Fallout and W7 Tar and Glue remover, as used with my previous BMW vehicles, but it looks like my GTechniq W7 Tar and Glue remover has has not played nicely with my Gloss black Grille Slats!!
I've been using this stuff for years and never had any issue with this before on gloss black trim etc??

It's almost a chalky kind of finish, but doesn't wash off. Seems better if I go over it with my nail, but don't want to go at it with anything Abrasive and scratch the finish...
Anyone else had any issues, or have any advice on what I could try to sort it??

There is a small chance that there was a coating of some sort on your black plastic parts. I had a similar issue with my F30 and used Clean Slate by Chemical Guys to ensure I got off all contaminated gunk. The white ash remnants came right off.
Best of luck to you!!
