However when there is STOP in the code isn't really reassuring. |

Only a very limited amount of cars are affected that were assembled on a specific assembly line. |

Is braking allowed, because that also charges the battery |

Would be great to know if it was a materials or workmanship/assembly problem ...

maybe because sportmode actively charges the batteries at a higher rate? (if i'm not mistaking?) or puts the car under more stress ? edit: this is a post on facebook from a fellow affected Belgian. |

Crap... just checked and have the same message as well. It was delivered in Zeebrugge last week and should be at the dealer by now. I haven’t been notified yet but was supposed to get an appointment over the coming 2 weeks.

I find this very strange because they said cars with production date between March and August 6th can be affected. I presume your cars are produced after August 6th?

Question for people from Belgium: Is this the best place to do an online BMW recall check: https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/footer/quic...-recalls.html?

Is it only UK or international? However some Belgian owners to be also had the message and they had dealer informed them the delivery is delayed. So it seems to be accurate. The fact that the 40D is affect can indicate an electric problem because it is a mild hybrid. I hope for everyone things get sorted out quickly and the long wait will be over soon. |

Mine was produced right after that slot and when I asked the dealer 2 weeks ago about that recall he said that mine was not impacted by that recall.

So, I got a STOP013222 on my 45e build 07.24 2020 also.
I tend to that it can‘t be such a big problem or even dangerous. Otherwise BMW could sent emails, since they have active email adresses from the connected accounts. Or even could send messages to the car. Last edited by westerm; 09-27-2020 at 02:31 PM.. |
